Welcome to 9Library Management Systems. This policy explains how we collect, use, and handle information when you use our Admin SaaS Platform. Transparency and data security are our top priorities.
We collect data necessary to provide our enterprise software services:
We use your data strictly to operate the software. Please Note: Our cloud database is hosted on secure platforms. While your data belongs entirely to you, our authorized system administrators have technical access to the database solely to provide customer support, fix technical bugs, perform server maintenance, and ensure the system runs smoothly.
Admin Responsibility: As a Library Admin, you act as the Data Fiduciary (Data Controller) for your students' data. You are strictly responsible for obtaining explicit consent from your students (and from parents or guardians for students under 18) before uploading their personal information, photos, or Government IDs to our platform. Collect ID documents only where you genuinely need them, and avoid storing full Aadhaar copies where a masked copy or another ID is enough. Uploading an Aadhaar or any other ID is optional for the student, and a seat can be booked without it.
Public Library Profile: Your library name, owner name, address, phone, email, photos, facilities, prices and seat availability are shown publicly to students and on your public booking page. Only enter details you are comfortable making public.
To provide a world-class, seamless experience, we partner with industry-leading third-party infrastructure providers. By using our service, you acknowledge that your data may be processed by our trusted partners. These include:
Crucial Assurance: We act purely as a data processor for your workspace. We strictly DO NOT sell your personal or student data to third-party marketers, advertisers, or data brokers.
We use reasonable security safeguards to protect your data, including encrypted connections and access controls. Sensitive uploaded documents (such as Verification IDs) are stored with restricted access. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We will notify users of any material changes via email or in-app notification before they take effect. Any changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use of the Software after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new policy.
In compliance with the DPDP Act and Indian IT Rules, in the unlikely event of a data breach compromising sensitive student or admin data, we are committed to notifying affected users and relevant authorities within the legally mandated timeframe, alongside taking immediate mitigative actions.
We retain your workspace data only as long as necessary to provide our services. Upon subscription expiration, your account transitions to a read-only state. To protect you from accidental data loss, we retain your database for 90 days post-expiration before initiating permanent deletion.
Account & Data Deletion Mechanism: In compliance with Google Play Store policies and global data protection laws, you have the right to request the permanent deletion of your account and all associated student data at any time. To initiate a data deletion request, email us directly at the contact email below with the subject "Data Deletion Request". We will process your request and permanently delete your data within 30 days, even if your subscription has not expired yet. If you delete your account from inside the app, your workspace is locked in Read-Only mode immediately and permanently wiped after 30 days.
The owner of 9Library, acting as platform administrator, can view the library data held on the platform, including student records and chat messages. This is done only to give support, find and fix errors, and keep the platform safe. Your data is not sold to anyone. It is seen only by the platform administrator and by our service providers who help us run the service.
Under Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask to see your data, correct it, delete it, or withdraw your consent. Write to our Grievance Officer: SHAKIR FAROOQ, Tehsil Chadoora, District Budgam, Jammu and Kashmir, India. We reply within 2 days and aim to resolve your request within 15 days.
